Walking into the fog
On uncertainty, and why not seeing far ahead can be a gift.
Fog takes the horizon away. You see ten metres of path and trust the rest.
It is uncomfortable at first. Then it becomes a relief: there is nothing to plan beyond the next few steps.
Not seeing far
A lot of good decisions are made this way. You cannot see the end, so you do the next right thing, and then the next.
I have stopped waiting for the fog to lift before I start walking.
